It brings us face to face with life’s greatest issues – life and death. We saw in our last episode that Jesus died. He cried, “Tetelestai – it is finished.” He finished the work He was sent to do. He died to take the punishment for the sins of the world. But what then? Oh, that wasn’t the end of the story.  There’s more. Let’s watch as Arlen shares with us how the grave lost its power and death lost its sting.

死亡– 它能让强者战栗，能让骗子说实话。它有办法从人的嘴唇上剥去黑暗的不诚实，露出人心中赤裸裸的真相。耶稣早在死前就与死亡打过交道。祂曾多次告诉门徒，祂必须去耶路撒冷受苦、受死，然后从死里复活。祂知道上帝的计划。祂也知道自己将遭受的痛苦、折磨和伤害。但祂并不害怕。他知道自己已经完成了上帝的旨意，所以他死了。祂喊出：“ Tetelestai 成了”。然后，天父凭着他的力量和权柄，使圣子从死里复活！他现在仍然活着，信他的人不再惧怕坟墓。死亡失去了它的毒钩。Death – it causes the mighty to tremble and the deceitful to confess. It has a way of stripping dark dishonesty from human lips, leaving naked truth in hearts of people. Jesus dealt with death long before He died. He told His disciples on several occasions that He had to go to Jerusalem to suffer, die and then rise from the dead. He knew the plan of God. He also knew the pain, the agony, and the hurt He would suffer. But He wasn’t afraid. He died knowing that He had fulfilled the purpose of God. He cried, “Tetelestai – it is finished.” Then, by the power and authority of heaven, the Father raised the Son from the dead! He’s alive, and those who believe in Him no longer fear the grave. Death lost its sting.
