In our last episode we saw the perfection and beauty of God’s law. His law acts as a professor who teaches us how God intends for us to live. It’s so easy to think, I’m okay. I’m pretty good. But when we look into His law, we see that we fall so short of reaching God’s standard. We’re left separated from a holy God. But God loves us. He wants a relationship with us more than we want one. But sin must be punished. We must be held accountable. God knew that. And He made a provision for our sins to be forgiven.
