2022年11月24日19时49分许，新疆乌鲁木齐市天山区吉祥苑小区一高层住宅楼发生火灾；燃烧近三个小时后，明火终被扑灭(http://www.chinanews.com.cn/sh/2022/11-26/9902675.shtml)；火灾中，多人伤亡，损失巨大。
At about 19:49 on November 24, 2022, a fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in Jixianyuan Complex, Tianshan District, Urumqi, Xinjiang; it took nearly three hours for the flames to be extinguished (http://www.chinanews.com.cn/sh/2022/11-26/9902675.shtml); a lot of people were killed or injured in the fire, and the damage was huge.
神造人、爱世人（约3:16），在天父的心目中，他的一个子民死去是多么可痛惜的事（圣经现代中文译本 – 诗116:15）！拉撒路死了，而耶稣与他的家人一起哭泣（约11:35）。由此，我们确信天父上帝同样为这次大火中的死难者而痛惜。
God created humans and loves them (Jn 3:16). Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. (Ps 116:15)! Lazarus died, and Jesus wept for him with his family (Jn 11:35). From this we are assured that God the Father likewise mourned the death of the victims of the fire.
作为基督徒，弟兄姐妹感基督之所悲，作为华人，弟兄姐妹哭同胞之苦难。故一起祈求天父医治伤者、安慰生者；并祈求天父帮助，使人能学到功课，避免此类悲剧再发；并祈求全部同胞都认罪悔改、识基督之爱，得永恒之福。
As Christians, our brothers and sisters grieve the sorrow of Christ, and as Chinese, our brothers and sisters cry for the suffering of their fellow countrymen. Thus, we pray that our Heavenly Father will heal the injured and comfort the living; and that He will help people to learn lessons to avoid such tragedies from happening again. And we also pray that all our fellow Chinese come to confess and repent of their sins, know the love of Christ, and gain the blessing of eternity.

愿在乌鲁木齐火灾中遇难者安息; 愿你们安息在没有瘟疫, 没有封控, 只有乐园的天堂。 May the victims of the Urumqi fire rest in peace; may you rest in a paradise free of plagues, free of lockdown, but only filled with peace and joy.
火灾无论被称为天灾还是人祸，都令人心疼！哭泣的同时，大火仍然值得我们深思！愿逝去的那鲜活的生命，唤醒沉睡麻木的灵魂，让我们思考人生的意义，追寻人生的方向，祈求神大能的手扭转那残忍僵化无效的统治，帮助在这片土地上被控的人们重获自由，并看见神的光并行走在祂的旨意里！
Whether the fire is called a natural disaster or a man-made disaster, it is distressing! While we weep for the dead, the fire itself worths our meditations ! May the fresh lives that passed away awaken sleepy and numb souls! Let us think about the meaning of life, pursue the direction of life, and pray for the powerful hand of God to reverse the cruel, rigid and ineffective ruling, and help those who are accused in this great land, help all Chinese regain their freedom and see God’s light and walk in His will!
